In the fascinating narrow streets of Arnaia, where stone, wood and lilac colors create the majestic combination of Macedonian architecture, the traditional guest house ARNI (daughter of Aeolos) is the epitome of harmony, tradition and aesthetics.

Taken out of the most tender fairy tale, it seems to revive the past through furniture and works of art that alternate with simple decoration, unexpected combinations and carefully selected furnishings. Indeed, everything that the owners have placed in the 4 spacious and bright apartments, one would think that it came of the stories, which describe the urban life of the past time.

Soft colors of the earth and the sky, which touch the stone in the most impudent way. Calligraphed granites refer to the woven carpets of Arnaia, which decorate as bands the walls, sofas, old trunks and wooden sideboards of the 20th century. It’s all there. One after another. Without clogging the sensation. No exaggerations. No redundancy.

Curtains and knitted embroideries on the windows and on the blue walls. Sophisticated. Small furniture in the corners. Flowers. And a yard for everything. For leisure, for breakfast, for reminiscing, for rambling, for BBQ, for afternoon coffee break, for evening conversation.

All around the eye reaches the alleys and the traditional mansions. Wooden balconies. Tranquility and Enjoyment. Cleanliness in all its local glory.

This building is a very personal project that I undertook with great joy and love together with my partner. I tried to give a piece of my character to each apartment either with my own paintings, decorations from my personal collection, my books, heritage furniture from my grandparents that I restored by hand and lots and lots of flowers, plants and herbs that I especially love!I hope that each apartment conveys to you the warmth of your home and the character of the village.
