Descendants of Asia Minor, the Stratigakis family– homemakers and tasteful – in 1997 created «Palia Afthoni» in Pyrgadikia, a famous fish tavern «taken from a dream», where its courtyard – living room in the square is reminiscent of their homeland of Anatolia.

At «Palia Afthoni» you will eat – what else – fish. Locatedby the seafront with view onthe village – perched on the hills, you will enjoy delicious tsipouro, seafood appetizers, Greek mezekliki, pickles, ointments, dishes with Asia Minor origin, cheese saganakia, perek, olives, incredible delicacies. But you will also find meat dishes. Local meats and special roasting make the difference. If it is early in the morning, enjoy coffee and toast, while if it is summer, ask for breakfast – you will understand that you made the right choice!
