Live a gastronomic experience during the famous Mount Athos Area Kouzina culinary festival which will be held in the third leg of Halkidiki from the 15th of May until the 15th of June.

Day 1 (01/06/2016). The feast of monastic cuisine

Arrival at Thessaloniki’s airport ‘’Makedonia’’ and travel by minivan to the village of Ouranopoli. Check in and get settled at your hotel. Try out the famous Greek iced coffee (frappe) with some local sweets. Spend your free time the way you wish and later on take part at today’s event ‘’Holy Shrine of Virgin Mary’’ and enjoy local delicacies made for this special reason.

Day 2 (02/06/2016). The feast of monastic wine

Start your day with a nutritious breakfast at your hotel, made with local products. Participate at a costal cruise around Mount Athos, admire its unique beauty, take part at a cooking class and learn local recipes. You will also have the opportunity to exercise and swim and afterward spend your free time the way you wish. Later on, enjoy a monastic dinner at Stratoni admiring the magnificent view from there.

Day 3 (03/06/2016). The feast of monastic cuisine

Wake up and enjoy your healthy breakfast. All male guests can visit the monastery farm named ‘’Chromitsa’’ of Mount Athos where they can learn everything about the production process of the famous wine ‘’Metochi Chromitsa’’ and have a delightful lunch. The female guests, can visit ‘’Zigos’’ Monastery and taste different types of local wines paired with lunch. The day closes by having a dinner at a famous bar- restaurant of the area hosted by famous chefs, with monastic menu.

Day 4 (04/06/2016). Departure

A nice day starts with a good breakfast, especially when it is made with fresh ingredients. You are ready to leave Halkidiki full of beautiful memories!
