DESCRIPTION:A tiny chapel on the top of a green hill. \nWhite. \nA courtyard. \nCypress trees. \nSilence. \nA magnificently simple dinner. \n\nAfter visiting the church\, we are welcomed to feast on the monastery delicacies of Gomati. \nLocal fermented bread\, Gomati olives - Halkidiki brand\, tomatoes collected from the local gardens dipped in local olive oil\, fresh onion\, homemade pie with thin leaves and wild herbs and tsipouro produced in Pasxalas distrilery. \n\nThe smell of the mountain in the air. \nAn uncharted haunt for pilgrims. \n\nThe humble food of pilgrimages is the memory of Greece. \nIt is the occasion to be familiar with the country.
